Kathleen Lake + My Favorites
This is a good lake for wild fishing and canoing. The best fishing is from April to June and during September and October. There is a boat launch, small campsite and picnic area available for use. Kathleen Lake is 36 km (22 mi) southwest of Port McNeill. It is accessed by the Wady Main logging road, via Keogh Main Road, off Highway 19 at Port McNeill.
Benson Lake + My Favorites
Benson Lake is located 35 km (21 mi) southwest of Port McNeill and is accessed via Keogh Main Road and Wady Main Road, from Highway 19 at Port McNeill. It offers good fishing during April, May, September and October for Rainbow, Cutthroat Trout and Dolly Varden Char.
Nimpkish Lake Provincial Park + My Favorites
This provincial park is known for the excellent windsurfing on its lake.There is also a hemlock forest and much wildlife in the park. Open winter and summer; camping. Located 32 km south of Port MacNeill. Address: . | Port MacNeill, BC
Keogh Lake + My Favorites

Maynard Lake + My Favorites
Maynard Lake is located 25 km (15.5 mi) southwest of Port McNeill, accessed by the Keogh main road to Benson Lake off highway 19 at Port McNeill. Access is restricted during logging times. The lake offers a boat launch, campsite and Cutthroat Trout fishing, best from April to June and September to October.
Roselle Lake + My Favorites
Stocked with Cutthroat Trout, Roselle Lake offers excellent fly-fishing, particularly during May, June, September and October. Some restrictions apply. A boat launch provides easy access for small boats. Located 16 km (10 mi) southeast of Port McNeill, access to the lake is off Highway 19 on Kipala Road to Beaver Cove. Beaver Lake + My Favorites
This small lake offers fishing for Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Dolly Varden Char. Prime fishing is during May, June, September and October. Beaver Lake also offers a large picnic and day-use site and access to the Beaver Lake forest interpretation trail. O'Connor Lake + My Favorites
A good little fishing spot for Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout, O'Connor Lake offers a boat launch and campsite. The lake is located 11 km (7 mi) southwest of Port McNeill and can be accessed via the Keogh Mainline to Benson Lake.
Three Isle Lake + My Favorites
This peaceful lake is located 18 km (11 mi) southwest of Port McNeill. It is accessed via the Keogh main road to Benson Lake. It offers excellent fishing for Cutthroat Trout, particularly April through June and September to October. A rustic campsite, picnic area and boat launch make Three Isle Lake a nice spot to spend a weekend.
